Having completed my counselling practicum as part of my Master of Counselling Psychology degree, I am currently awaiting licensure. My therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, intuition, and genuine empathy. Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based talk therapy, I support clients in navigating life and their inner worlds with greater understanding and self-compassion. I believe deeply that we do not need to change who we are to heal—we simply need the right support.
My own healing journey inspired my passion for supporting individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, and related challenges that affect daily life. Feelings connected to past trauma, burdens of guilt or shame, and beliefs that we are “too much” or “not enough” are central to my practice. I strive to provide a safe and compassionate space where these experiences can be understood, held without judgment, and no longer carried alone.
I chose counselling because I believe in every person’s capacity to heal and move toward their fullest potential. I am continually inspired by the courage clients bring into the counselling space, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
